👨🌾 Who Needs to Register on MFMB?
Every Haryana farmer who plans to sell their crop at a government mandi under MSP must register on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal before the season deadline. Registration is not optional — without it, the e-Kharid system will not issue a gate pass and you cannot enter the procurement centre.
The following categories of farmers are eligible to register:
- Landowner farmers — who own the land they are cultivating in Haryana
- Tenant farmers / sharecroppers (bataidaar) — cultivating someone else’s land with their consent
- Farmers with joint ownership — land held jointly in revenue records
- Farmers with leased land — who hold a formal lease agreement for the plot
⚠️
One registration per season. Each Kharif and each Rabi season requires a fresh registration. Your previous season’s registration does not carry forward. For eligibility details and tenant farmer rules see our
eligibility guide →

🔀 3 Ways to Register
Choose the method that suits you best. All three register you on the same official MFMB system — the result is identical.
🖥️
Online — Portal
Register yourself at fasal.haryana.gov.in anytime, anywhere. Fastest option if documents are ready.
Recommended
🏢
CSC / VLE / Seva Kendra
Visit your nearest Common Service Centre. Operator does it for you. Nominal service charge may apply.
📱
Mobile App
Download the official MFMB app from Google Play Store. Same steps as the portal, on your phone.
🖥️ Step-by-Step: Online Registration
Follow these steps exactly. Do not close the browser tab midway — if you do, your session may expire and you will need to start from Step 4 again.
-
Open Chrome and go to fasal.haryana.gov.in
Chrome works best. Avoid using Internet Explorer or older browsers.
-
On the homepage, click “किसान अनुभाग” (Farmer Section)
This is the main farmer login/registration button — usually in the center of the homepage.
-
Click “किसान पंजीकरण (हरियाणा)” — Farmer Registration (Haryana)
If you already have an account, click Login instead. New farmer? Click Registration.
-
Enter your Haryana mobile number and the captcha code, then click Login / OTP भेजें
The mobile number must be registered in your name and active. This becomes your permanent login ID for the portal.
-
Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click Verify
OTP is valid for a few minutes. If it expires, click “Resend OTP” — wait 60 seconds first.
-
Your Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) details will load automatically. Verify the family members shown on screen
If your PPP data is wrong or missing, you must update it at saralharyana.gov.in first before proceeding.
-
The Registration Form will open. Fill in all sections carefully:
• Personal details (name, address, district, tehsil, village) • Land details (Khasra no., Khata no., area in acres) • Crop details (crop name, variety, sowing date) • Bank account (account number, IFSC code) • Mandi preference (select your nearest procurement centre)
-
Upload documents where prompted — Aadhaar, bank passbook front page, and any other required files
File format: JPG or PDF. File size: usually under 200KB per document. Compress large files if needed.
-
Review every field carefully, then click Submit / Save
Once submitted you cannot easily change certain fields like the Khasra number. Double-check before clicking.
-
Save or print the registration confirmation slip that appears on screen
This slip has your registration number. You will need it at the mandi. You can reprint it anytime by logging in to your dashboard.
✅
After submitting,
check your registration status within 2–3 days to confirm it has been verified by the Agriculture Department. See our
registration status guide →
🏢 Register via CSC / VLE / Atal Seva Kendra
If you are not comfortable using the internet yourself, this option is for you. Visit any of these centres near your village:
- Common Service Centre (CSC) — government-run digital service centres
- Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) — local operators authorised to register on MFMB
- Atal Seva Kendra — Haryana government’s citizen service centres
| What to Carry | Why It’s Needed |
| Original Aadhaar Card | Identity verification at the counter |
| Parivar Pehchan Patra | Mandatory for MFMB — operator needs the Family ID number |
| Mobile Number (active) | OTP will be sent to this number during registration |
| Bank Passbook | Operator needs account number and IFSC for entry |
| Jamabandi / Fard | Khasra and Khata number must be entered correctly |
⛔
MFMB registration is free. If an operator demands payment beyond the standard nominal service charge (set by the government), refuse and report it to the Agriculture Department. Do not pay any unofficial fee.
🛠️ Common Registration Errors & How to Fix Them
These are the most frequently reported issues during MFMB registration. Each one has a clear fix.
📵
OTP not received
Check signal strength. Wait 60 seconds and click Resend. Make sure DND is not blocking transactional SMS on your number. Try in early morning (6–9 AM) when portal load is low. If still not received, try a different browser or device.
🪪
Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) not found or mismatch
Most common error. Your Family ID may be outdated, linked to a different mobile number, or not yet created. Fix: visit
saralharyana.gov.in or your nearest Atal Seva Kendra to update or create your PPP first. After updating, wait 24 hours before trying MFMB registration again.
📜
Land record (Jamabandi) name mismatch
The name on your Aadhaar must match the name in Haryana land records. If they differ (spelling variation, use of father’s name, etc.) — visit your local Patwari with both documents to get the mismatch corrected. This may take a few days. Do not attempt to skip it — a mismatch will cause your registration to be rejected.
📞
“Mobile number already registered” error
This means your number is already linked to an existing MFMB account — possibly from a previous season. Do not register again. Instead, login with your mobile number and OTP to update your current season’s crop details within your existing account.
🔢
Khasra number not found in the system
Cross-check your Khasra number at
jamabandi.nic.in. If the number is correct but still not found, your village’s land records may not yet be digitised on the MFMB system. Contact your local Agriculture Department office — they can manually link the record.
🌐
Portal not loading or showing blank page
Switch to Chrome. Clear your cache (Settings → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files). Try early morning. If the portal is under maintenance, it typically resumes within a few hours — check official Haryana Government announcements.
⏭️ What Happens After You Submit
Submitting the form is not the final step. Here is what happens next and what you need to do at each stage:
1
Immediate — Save your confirmation slip
A registration confirmation appears on screen with your registration number. Save it as PDF or print it. You can reprint it anytime from your dashboard.
2
Within 24–48 hours — Verification begins
The Agriculture Department reviews your submitted details against land records and Aadhaar data. Your status will show “Verification Pending” during this period.
3
2–3 working days — Check your status
Login to fasal.haryana.gov.in and check your registration status. It should show “पंजीकृत / Registered.” If it shows Rejected or Incomplete, take action immediately. See our
status check guide →
4
Before procurement season — Get your gate pass
Once your registration is verified, you can generate your mandi gate pass via ekharid.haryana.gov.in. The gate pass assigns you a date and time slot to sell at the government mandi. See our
gate pass guide →
5
After selling at mandi — MSP payment via DBT
After your crop is purchased at the mandi, payment is made directly to your registered bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) within 10–15 working days. Track it via your dashboard → Payment Status.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How to register on Meri Fasal Mera Byora? ▼
Visit
fasal.haryana.gov.in, click Farmer Section → Farmer Registration, login with your Haryana mobile number and OTP, verify your Parivar Pehchan Patra, fill in land, crop, and bank details, upload documents, and submit. Registration is free and takes under 15 minutes. Full steps are covered above.
What documents are needed for MFMB registration? ▼
You need: Aadhaar card, Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID), an active Haryana mobile number registered in your name, bank passbook front page (with account number and IFSC), Jamabandi or Fard (land records showing your Khasra and Khata number), and a passport-size photo.
Is MFMB registration free? ▼
Yes — completely free at fasal.haryana.gov.in. If you register through a CSC or VLE, a small government-approved operator service charge may apply. The scheme itself has no registration fee.
Can I register MFMB through CSC? ▼
Yes. Visit your nearest Common Service Centre, VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur), or Atal Seva Kendra with all original documents. The operator will complete your registration on the official portal. Carry your Aadhaar, PPP, bank passbook, and Jamabandi.
What is Parivar Pehchan Patra and why is it required? ▼
Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is Haryana’s Family ID — an 8-digit number linking every family in Haryana to government databases. It is mandatory for MFMB registration as it verifies you are a Haryana resident and prevents duplicate or fake registrations. Update yours at
saralharyana.gov.in if it is outdated.
Do I need to register every season? ▼
Yes. MFMB registration must be renewed every crop season — once for Kharif and once for Rabi. Your previous season’s registration does not carry forward automatically. Missing the deadline means losing MSP and benefit eligibility for that season.
Can tenant farmers (bataidaar) register on MFMB? ▼
Yes. Tenant farmers and sharecroppers can register with the landowner’s consent and land documents. A written consent or tenancy agreement may be required in some cases. See our
eligibility guide for the complete requirements.
What is the last date for MFMB registration in 2026? ▼
Kharif 2026 registration is currently open (as of June 2026). The exact deadline has not been officially confirmed yet. Check our
last date tracker for the latest update, or verify at fasal.haryana.gov.in directly.
