1 What is Meri Fasal Mera Byora?

Meri Fasal Mera Byora — meaning “My Crop, My Details” — is the official online crop registration portal launched by the Government of Haryana in 2019. Available at fasal.haryana.gov.in.

Before this portal existed, the government had no reliable, real-time record of which farmer was growing which crop, on how much land, and where. That made delivering MSP payments, crop insurance, subsidies, and disaster compensation slow and prone to fraud. The MFMB portal solved all of that.

When you register your crop on MFMB, the government gets a direct verified record of your identity, land parcel, crop, and bank account — and everything flows from there: payments, gate passes, insurance, and compensation.

ℹ️
The portal is operated by the Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department, Haryana in collaboration with the Revenue Department, Food & Civil Supplies Department, HARSAC, and the e-Kharid procurement platform.

🔴
Payment delayed? First verify your bank account number in the portal is correct. Then contact your local mandi office or call 1800-180-2060. You can also raise a formal complaint on the MFMB grievance portal.

7 E-Kharid Gate Pass — How to Get It

A gate pass is a digital token that assigns you a specific date and time to arrive at the mandi and sell your crop. Without it, you cannot enter a government procurement centre.

  1. Visit ekharid.haryana.gov.in or the e-Kharid section of the MFMB portal
  2. Login with your mobile number
  3. Select your crop and season
  4. Check your allotted procurement date and time slot
  5. Click “Generate Gate Pass” or “J Form”
  6. Download or print the gate pass PDF — a digital copy on your phone is accepted at the mandi

8 Kshatipurti — Crop Damage Compensation

If your crop is damaged by flood, drought, hailstorm, or any natural calamity, you can claim financial compensation through the e-Kshatipurti (मुआवजा) portal. But this is only possible if your crop was already registered on MFMB before the damage occurred.

How Compensation Works

  1. After the disaster, government initiates a Girdawari (official crop damage survey) through the local Patwari
  2. Patwari visits fields and records the extent of damage
  3. An eligible farmers list is prepared based on MFMB registration data
  4. Compensation is calculated based on damage percentage and registered area
  5. Amount is transferred directly to your bank via DBT
Critical: No MFMB registration = No compensation, no matter how severe the crop damage. This is the single most important reason to register your crop every season before the deadline.

To check your compensation status, visit fasal.haryana.gov.in → e-Kshatipurti section → login with mobile number.
