Who Is Eligible to Register on MFMB?
The Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal is open to all farmers who cultivate agricultural land in Haryana — whether they own it, lease it, or work it as a sharecropper. Three categories of farmers can register:

Key eligibility conditions that apply to all farmers:
- The agricultural land must be within Haryana’s boundaries and in Haryana Jamabandi revenue records
- The farmer must have a valid Aadhaar card and a Haryana mobile number registered in their name
- The mobile number is used as the login ID — it cannot be someone else’s number
- Registration must be done every season — Kharif and Rabi are separate registrations
- Farmers from other states (UP, MP, Rajasthan) whose land is not in Haryana records cannot register on this portal
Tenant Farmers & Sharecroppers (Bataidaar)
Thousands of Haryana farmers cultivate land they do not own. The MFMB portal has a specific provision for them — you can register as a tenant farmer (bataidaar) with the following:

Document Mismatch Errors & How to Fix Them
These are the most common document-related registration failures. Each has a specific fix:

Name on Aadhaar does not match land records (Jamabandi)
This is the most common issue. Land records often use your father’s name or a different spelling from your Aadhaar. Fix options: (1) Update your Aadhaar name at uidai.gov.in to match Jamabandi, or (2) visit your local Patwari to get the Jamabandi name corrected to match your Aadhaar. Option 2 is faster in most cases.

Your Family ID may have wrong details (name, DOB) or may not yet be created. Fix: Visit saralharyana.gov.in or your nearest Atal Seva Kendra / CSC to create or update your PPP. Wait 24 hours after updating before attempting MFMB registration again — the system needs time to sync.

Bank account not in farmer’s name
DBT payments can only go to an account in your name (or a joint account that includes your name). Accounts in a spouse’s or parent’s name only are not accepted. Fix: Open a new individual or joint account at any bank. Jan Dhan Yojana accounts (zero balance) are accepted and can be opened quickly. Bring your Aadhaar and a photo to any nationalised bank branch.

Some villages’ land records are not yet fully digitised in the MFMB database, or the Khasra number has been split/merged in recent land surveys.
