💰 How MSP Payment Works Under MFMB
Once a Meri Fasal Mera Byora registered farmer sells their crop at a government mandi, the payment flows through a fully digital process. There are no cash payments, no commission agents, and no middlemen involved.
| Step | What Happens | Timeframe |
| Crop sold at mandi | Procuring agency (HAFED, HSAMB, etc.) weighs and purchases your crop against your gate pass / J-Form | Day 0 |
| Purchase recorded | Purchase details updated in the e-Kharid system against your MFMB registration | Day 1–2 |
| Verification | Agriculture Department verifies purchase data and bank account details | Day 3–7 |
| DBT transfer initiated | Payment is sent via PFMS (Public Financial Management System) directly to your registered bank account | Day 7–10 |
| Amount credited | Money appears in your bank account. SMS alert sent to your registered mobile number | Day 10–15 |
📌
Important: Payment is calculated as Weight (quintals) × MSP rate. For Rabi 2025–26 wheat, that is weight × ₹2,275. The procuring agency issues a payment receipt (J-Form) at the mandi — keep this safe as it has your purchase reference number.
🖥️ Method 1 — Check via MFMB Portal
⭐ Most Complete Information
The MFMB portal shows the full payment record including amount, date of transfer, and UTR (transaction reference number).
- Open Chrome and go to fasal.haryana.gov.in
- Click “किसान अनुभाग” (Farmer Section)
- Enter your registered mobile number and captcha, then click Login / OTP भेजें
- Enter the OTP and click Verify
- On your farmer dashboard, click “Payment Status / भुगतान स्थिति”
- Select your crop season (Kharif 2025 or Rabi 2025–26) and crop registration
- Your payment amount, transfer date, and bank credit status will be displayed
ℹ️
The dashboard also shows your UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number. If you need to verify with your bank that the payment was sent, share this UTR number with your bank branch.
🏪 Method 2 — Check via e-Kharid Portal
Quick Check — No Full Login
The e-Kharid portal allows you to check payment status without going through the full login process. Useful for a quick verification.
- Go to ekharid.haryana.gov.in
- Look for “Payment Status” or “भुगतान स्थिति” on the homepage or top menu
- Enter your mobile number registered on MFMB
- Select your season and year (e.g., Rabi 2025–26)
- Click Search / खोजें
- Your payment record — amount and status — will appear on screen
💡
Nothing showing on e-Kharid? Your crop purchase may not yet be updated in the system. This can take 1–3 working days after mandi sale. If it still does not appear after 5 working days of selling, contact your mandi secretary to confirm the purchase was recorded against your gate pass.
📊 What Each Payment Status Message Means
The MFMB and e-Kharid portals use specific status labels. Many farmers are confused by these — here is exactly what each one means and what to do:
| Status Label | What It Means | What to Do |
| ✓ Payment Done / भुगतान हो गया |
Payment has been successfully transferred to your bank account via DBT |
Check your bank account or passbook. SMS alert should have arrived on your mobile. |
| ⏳ Payment Pending / लंबित |

Wait — this is normal. If pending beyond 15 working days, see the delay section below. |

🛠️ Payment Delayed? Step-by-Step Fix
If your payment shows “Pending” beyond 15 working days of selling your crop, work through this checklist in order. Most payment delays are resolved at Step 1 or 2.
1
Verify your bank account details on the portal
Login to
fasal.haryana.gov.in and check your bank account number and IFSC code. A single wrong digit in either field will cause the DBT transfer to fail silently. If wrong, update immediately — payments are retried after correction.
2
Confirm the purchase was recorded in e-Kharid
Go to
ekharid.haryana.gov.in and check whether your crop purchase appears against your mobile number and season. If not visible, contact your
mandi secretary directly with your J-Form number to confirm it was entered in the system.
3
Check whether your bank account is active and linked to Aadhaar
DBT payments require your bank account to be active and — in some cases — linked to Aadhaar (NPCI seeding). Visit your bank branch and confirm both. A dormant account, zero-balance account that has been frozen, or an account without NPCI seeding can all block DBT transfers.
4
Call the MFMB helpline
Call 1800-180-2060 (toll-free, all days). Have ready: your mobile number, J-Form number, and the date you sold your crop. The helpline operator can check your payment status in the backend and raise a flag for review if there is a system-level issue.
5
Visit your local Agriculture Department office
If the helpline cannot resolve it, visit your district’s Agriculture Department office with: your Aadhaar card, MFMB registration slip, J-Form / gate pass copy, and bank passbook. The officer can initiate a manual payment review and escalate within the department.
6
File a formal online grievance
If steps 1–5 have not resolved the issue within 5 additional working days, file a formal complaint on the MFMB grievance portal. See the grievance section below for the exact steps.
⚠️
Never pay anyone to “fix” your payment. No official, broker, or CSC operator has the authority to demand money for processing your MSP payment. If anyone asks for payment to release your dues, report it to the district Agriculture Department immediately.
📝 How to File a Formal Grievance
If your payment issue has not been resolved through the helpline or Agriculture Office, file an official grievance. Grievances are tracked and have a mandatory resolution timeline.
🌐
Step 1
Go to fasal.haryana.gov.in → Grievance / Shikayat section
📝
Step 2
Login and fill complaint form with mobile no., J-Form no., sale date, and issue description
🎫
Step 3
Note your complaint ticket number — use this for all future follow-up
📞
Step 4
If no response in 7 working days, escalate to District Agriculture Officer with ticket number
💡
Alternatively, file a complaint on the
CM Window (cmwindow.haryana.gov.in) or
Saral Haryana (saralharyana.gov.in) portal for faster escalation of payment-related grievances. See our

How many days does MFMB MSP payment take after selling at mandi? ▼
After your crop is purchased at the government mandi, MSP payment is typically transferred to your bank account via DBT within 10 to 15 working days. Delays beyond 15 working days are usually caused by bank account mismatches, NPCI seeding issues, or verification holds. Work through the delay checklist above if your payment is late.
What is the MSP for wheat in Rabi 2025-26? ▼
The Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat in Rabi 2025-26 is ₹2,275 per quintal as notified by the Government of India’s Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA). Your total payment = weight of crop sold (in quintals) × ₹2,275.
What does “Payment Pending” mean on MFMB? ▼
Payment Pending means your crop has been purchased at the mandi but the DBT transfer has not yet been completed. This is normal within the first 10 working days after sale. If it remains pending beyond 15 working days, check your bank account details in the portal, then call 1800-180-2060.
What does “Bank Details Mismatch” mean and how to fix it? ▼
This means the bank account number or IFSC code you entered in MFMB does not match what the bank has on record, causing the DBT transfer to fail. Login to fasal.haryana.gov.in → go to your profile → update the correct bank account number and IFSC code. After correction, payment will be reprocessed within 5–7 working days.
Can I change my bank account for MFMB payment? ▼
Yes. Login to fasal.haryana.gov.in → go to your dashboard → click “Update Bank Details” → enter your new account number and IFSC and upload the front page of your new bank passbook. documents guide for more.
My payment was rejected. What do I do? ▼
A rejected payment usually means the bank returned the DBT transfer — due to a closed account, wrong account number, or frozen account. First, update your correct bank details on the MFMB portal. Then call helpline 1800-180-2060 to request reprocessing. If still not resolved, file a grievance on fasal.haryana.gov.in.
