An e-Kharid gate pass is a digital entry token issued to Haryana farmers who have registered their crop on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal. It is generated through the e-Kharid procurement system at ekharid.haryana.gov.in.
The gate pass does three things:
- Confirms your registered crop and quantity are in the government procurement system
- Assigns you a specific mandi, date, and time slot to deliver your crop
- Gives the mandi security a verifiable document to allow you entry — without it, you cannot enter a government procurement centre regardless of your MFMB registration
No gate pass = no mandi entry. Even if your MFMB registration is valid and your crop is ready, you will be turned away at the government procurement centre gate without a valid e-Kharid gate pass. Generate it before going to the mandi.
Step-by-Step: Generate & Download Your Gate Pass
The process takes about 5 minutes. Your MFMB registration must already be verified (status: Registered) before a gate pass can be generated. Check your registration status first →
- Open Chrome and go to ekharid.haryana.gov.in This is the official e-Kharid procurement portal — separate from but linked to the MFMB portal.
- Click Farmer Login or किसान लॉगिन on the homepage Use the same mobile number you registered with on MFMB. The two portals share the same farmer database.
- Enter your registered mobile number and complete the OTP verification
- On your dashboard, select your crop (e.g., wheat, paddy) and season (e.g., Kharif 2026 or Rabi 2025–26)
- Your allotted mandi, procurement date, and time slot will be displayed Slots are allotted by the government based on your registered mandi and crop quantity. You cannot choose your own slot.
- Click “Generate Gate Pass” or “J-Form” to create your pass If this button is greyed out or missing, see the problems section below.

Your gate pass will show your registration number, name, crop, quantity, allotted mandi name, and your entry date and time. Arrive at the mandi within your allotted time slot — arriving outside your slot may cause delays or require rescheduling.

Complete Mandi Procurement Flow
Here is what happens from the moment you arrive at the mandi with your gate pass to when money reaches your account:

Arrive at mandi within your time slot
Show your gate pass (digital or printed) to security. QR code is scanned for verification. You are given a token number for the weighing queue.

Crop weighing and quality check
Your crop is weighed on the government-certified weighbridge. Quality is checked against the specifications (moisture, foreign matter) set for that crop and grade. Carry your Aadhaar card for identity verification at this stage.

Purchase recorded in e-Kharid system
The procuring agency (HAFED, HSAMB, FCI, or other) enters the purchase against your gate pass number in the e-Kharid system. Total payment is calculated: weight (quintals) × MSP rate.

Gate passes are only generated for farmers with verified / Registered status on MFMB. If your registration still shows Pending, Incomplete, or Rejected, you cannot get a gate pass. Check your registration status → and resolve any issues first.

The government opens procurement for each crop on specific dates — not all at once. Gate passes for wheat are issued differently from paddy or bajra. Check the procurement schedule for your specific crop with your local Agriculture Office or mandi secretary. If procurement has not started, the gate pass option will not appear on the portal.

Details mismatch between MFMB and e-Kharid
Sometimes your MFMB registration data has not yet synced to e-Kharid (can take 24–48 hours after registration verification). If you recently got your registration verified, wait a day and try again. If it persists after 48 hours, contact your mandi secretary with your MFMB registration number.
